Assessment
We would like to be able to track the data from assessment results of children K-3 in reading, k-6 in math
we would like to be able to look at a child throughout the course of their schooling here
we would like to compare students and compare classes
have historical data for students to compare how new curriculum additions are effecting data
we would like a way for teachers to be able to view individual students, classes and prepare custom reports
we would like to be able to query inormation to find and survey assessment data
we would like to be able to make new fields for new data
we would like the ability to create charts and graphs to compare students or classes or to look at test results over time
we would like the ability to enter data on specific test items, giving us a picture of which test items were most/least successful in a given assessment

see health concerns easily
birthday lists

attendance/tardy reports
A gradebook module would be excellent, so that we can keep a digital record of assessment information within our classrooms. Perhaps parts of this data could be then exported to the report writing module. The gradebook should be flexible enough to incorporate all kinds of assessment information, anything from check marks to scores to letter grades.
dream list.
• a student profile page for each child. It would contain a digital copy of everything in the office files (i.e. past reports, PT referrals & notes, health records, etc.) as well as a place for hidden anecdotal notes, a hyperlink to our online gradebook (or a different gradebook module), practical data such as birthday, parent's names, sibs, etc.
• an online portfolio for students' work (scanner might be needed at class level for best results)
• a way to track any support the children has both in and out of school (ie Speech Screenings, PT, OT, Tutoring, Medical)
• a place for all teachers (specials and homeroom) to record notes on specific children--will help in Student Issues meetings
• ERB scores
• frequent correspondence kept on file (diversity letters, field trip notices, etc.)
For reports:
• having the ability to have checklists and narrative and past goals/strengths open on the same screen (or tabs like firefox)
• the ability to click once to have page preview
• the ability to tweak text boxes (ie margins) should the narrative go to 3 pages with just a few words on the third page
